VINTAGE ORIGINAL HAND WRITTEN LETTER MENTIONING THE SINKING OF THE RMS TITANIC - MAILED APRIL 19, 1912
For your consideration from my personal collection, this listing is for a "RARE" Vintage Original, Hand Written Letter Mentioning The Sinking of the RMS Titanic and Mailed April 19, 1912.
This very interesting and Historical moment in time was hand written in ink on April 17, 1912. It's a 7 page letter written to a sister in the United States just 2 days after Titanic sank and mailed on April 19, 1912, as the postmark date stamp shows on the envelope.
The letter was written on two sheets of cream coloured note paper and folded to fit the accompanying envelope. Of the 7 written sides, pages 3, 4 and 5 talk about the sinking of Titanic.
The letter itself is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The envelope was opened along the top and has just a small amount of staining on the back from something long ago. The letter measures approximately 5 5/8" x 8 1/2" in the opened position.
This "RARE" and Historical Letter will display beautifully in a collection!!
It will be sent in a protective sleeve and shipped well padded in a sturdy box to prevent loss or damage.
