Water heater Gasoline fired 24V Stainless steel Potable water Unused
Unused military 24 Volt gasoline fired water heater. Vertical design with 3 inch inlet and outlet ports on top and bottom unit. All associated accessories are mounted on a plate on the side of the boiler.
The outershell is non-magnetic and assumed to be stainless steel. The inner steel that can be reached through the exhaust duct is also non magnetic. The upper cover is steel. This was to be used on a potable water truck.
This heater was used on a A/S32A-2 demineralized water truck and that is all we know about it.  The manufacturer Grimes Aerospace has been absorbed by other companies so any information about it would be extremley difficult to find.  Most of the components on the heater are aviation grade such as the fuel pumps, relays and solenoids.
