This auction is for the thimble in the photos. This thimble depicts the Gabler Mill that was part of the
original
Gabler thimble factory in Schorndorf, Germany.  This stunning silver thimble has Helmut & Thorvald Greif's mark on the side, May 1984 & 925 for sterling silver. This was a limited edition and this thimble is numbered #0007.  It is in mint condition and a very heavy due to it being a cast silver thimble. There is a photo of this thimble in the New International Edition of Thimble Collector's Encyclopedia by Jon Von Hoelle on page 110, #480.  Please see the photos for it's condition. This comes from a smoke free home.
