Item(s) & Condition:
(1) Lovely vintage doll by Arranbee / R&B
has manufacturing markings on the back of doll's head that read: R&B. Doll measures approximately 17 inches & is made of hard plastic, jointed at head, shoulders, and hips. I'm not sure if she's a walker doll or not as she doesn't "walk".
Doll has an older replacement wig that is a pretty shade of red / auburn. She has sleep eyes with black real upper eyelashes. Not sure of eye color - to me, it looks like a grayish-green or grayish-blue tone. The rest of her facial features are painted & original - delicate light auburn brows, painted under lashes and closed red lips. Her cheek blush is faded / worn away.
Doll's Condition:
Doll in sound basic condition, but not perfect, being vintage / previously owned, thus sold "as is".
Doll's face is somewhat paler than the rest of her. Her brows are  faded and there's a rub above her upper lip (where underlying gray color shows) & cheek blush is worn away. Sleep eyes open & close, but they stick & when in closed position, don't completely close. Real lashes look fine, there's little paint chips on both eyelids (shows underlying white color) Both eyes have minor scratches / scuffs + yellowing of irises. There's black stains or lines on the white of her right eye. Her face / head may have some scratches, scuffs, soiling from age and play. There's also some minor spots, dirt marks & stains here and there.
Peeking under wig, doll has very heavy noticeable factory seams on head.
As previously mentioned, wig is an older replacement. It's mussed, with frizz and flyaway strands and is uneven (not sure if it's been trimmed or not). May also have some sparse areas. Underlying wig cap shows some at the front. Hair is held in place on both sides by a metal bobby pin. There's a lot of old factory glue residue on both sides of doll's head (and on ears) and in back (all this is under wig). Wig is coming loose some on both sides and on top needs to be glued down in those areas.
As previously mentioned, I don't know if doll is a walker or not - she does not walk. Her arms don't hold a pose. All fingers intact, with some paint wear & rubs. Legs are swingy, all toes intact, may be some paint wear on toes. She can't stand on her own, so for safety's sake, I suggest displaying her on a doll stand (which isn't included).
Doll's body / limbs have soiling from age + assorted scratches, scuffs and areas where the paint has completely worn away on some areas or show whitish or grayish scuffs (most especially where upper arms and legs are attached to body), from the joints moving back and forth. There are also some small dirt marks, spots, stains here and there on body / limbs / hands / feet + possibly some paint wear here and there.
No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents to doll, there is an old plastic scent (typical of hard plastic dolls of this era).
(2) Vintage Pink Outfit:
This pretty outfit is not an R&B factory outfit, but fits doll well and is appropriate for the era.  Outfit includes:
-Homemade very pale pink gown with narrow blue braid trim and pink ribbon roses and green ribbon leaves as accents. There's also some delicate netting or lace trim on neckline. Gown fastens in back with 3 metal snaps (all intact/work). There's decorative pink stitching here and there on gown.
-Homemade shell pink petticoat trimmed with delicate lace or netting at bottom hem. Fastens in back with 1 metal safety pin.
- Pink panties with darker pink trim, with elastic at waist. Not sure if homemade or factory item (I don't think an R&B item).
- One pair of pink (tea color) shoes with faded pink ribbon ties and beige paper soles. Factory items, but likely not by R&B.
Outfit Condition:
Outfit items in sound basic condition, but not perfect, as vintage / previously owned, thus sold "as is".
Garments all have wrinkles, soiling from age, may have fabric pilling or snags + loose hanging threads & may be fraying here and there. May also have some small stains, spots or dirt marks. Roses / leaves flattened somewhat. Elastic stretched out on panties. Shoes have stains / fading / color mottling / tea color + soiling or stains. Wear & fading on soles. Ribbon ties on shoes are wrinkled with some frays.
No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents to outfit items, but there is an old plastic scent.
