Rare Vintage CIA clandestine URT11 transmitter ham CW radio w/manual & PS works*

For auction is a vintage, very hard to find, URT-11 (CIA) transmitter with original manual and Heathkit model HP-23A power supply. Item(s) being sold as found and has not been cleaned, cleaning will be left to the winning bidder if they choose to do so. Item(s) is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are part of this description. This URT-11 transmitter is in excellent overall condition, considering it's age. Item does show some areas with wear/age, but appears to have no major damage. This transmitter does have some cleanly drilled holes in the top of it's cabinet. Item's front cover does open and close correctly. Item retains its original paint finish and includes all four original and matching bottom feet. The front panel is in excellent, original condition. All knobs are original and functioning. The original meter is free from any cracking and is fully intact. All switches are also original and functioning. The plug in crystal section is also intact and shown being used in pictures four and five. (crystal not included) Item is free from any loose particles inside cabinet. Tubes were found with this unit and are included. (tubes untested) Please note the tubes functioning per picture six. (works*) Please also note pictures four and five as this transmitter did power on and was briefly tested using its non original Heathkit power supply. (works*) The Heathkit power supply has been paired up nicely by the original owner to use with this transmitter and is included as shown. The Heathkit model HP-23A power supply is in good overall condition, but does shows signs of wear/age. No other testing was done. This item has not been fully opened up, but it is evident this item was taken care of over the years. The winning bidder may want to keep an eye out for the original power supply, but until then may use the included Heathkit power supply with this transmitter and/or build their own. Due to this item using a non original power supply, this item is being sold as is for parts/repair only with no returns. The original manual is intact and complete. These transmitter do not show up anywhere at all as they are becoming quite rare. The URT-11 is very well built inside and outside, and is a solid, heavy duty transmitter weighing approximately 40LBS. by itself. When viewing all pictures, please note this item has some parts that are not original added to it. The line cord appears to be original, and the connecting plug from the transmitter to the power supply has been neatly constructed by the original owner. Whether interested in using a vintage, well built CW transmitter or adding this rare piece to your US Military & CIA/clandestine radio collection, this item sure is going to be a great addition. The winning bidder should, as always, go through this vintage transmitter and power supply electronically before using continuously to be sure you are familiar with it's operation. There are no warranties on vintage electronics and there are no returns. The telegraph key and SWR meter were only used for brief testing and are not included in this auction.
