    Description

    This is a very rare piece of Titanic memorabilia. The sinking of the RMS Titanic is the most famous maritime disaster in history. These items were produced only days after the Titanic sank and were distributed at a memorial service at Windsor Castle as a tribute to the lives lost. Of particular note is the hymn chosen to be sung at the service. Survivors of the event recall the Titanic’s string ensemble playing “Nearer, my god to thee” as the vessel went under. This piece is also significant because it is likely that members of the royal family were present for this service.
