    Description

    This is a great piece of Americana folk art in the form of a hand carved wooden Indian Chief with headdress. Includes brass tacks along the headband and paint on the headdress itself. The paint is beautiful and has an appropriate amount of patina on it to make it old. The colors are subdued and applied with great care from what I can tell. Has the old style latch on the back that's is a good age indicator  Works great! This is a larger size pin brooch that might have been made by a Native American and, is in excellent condition with no flaws whatsoever. When was the last time that you saw one of these?
