    Description

    This item is believed to be the crystal oscillator module for a 1950's vintage US Army GI R-392 HF radio receiver in used as removed condition.  Although the R-392 was a Collins Radio design, there is no indication that this item was made by Collins.  The markings are: "D.E.I. Item No. 5074" and my guess is that it was made under contract by Dubrow Electronics Industries (Teledyne) as R-392's were made to government specs by various vendors.   Is dusty from many years of storage in an unheated aircraft hangar and is missing the tubes (6AJ5 x2) and tube shields.  Importantly there are approx. 23 crystals installed in 2 compartments and the crystal frequency markings appear to match those on the covers (see photos).  Some of the small screws may be missing or mismatched.  Sold as pictured, untested, and AS IS and cannot be returned.
