This fun listing is one lot of a large group of vintage dolls (Barbies, Madame Alexanders, Ginnys and many others), clothing, and accessories, most dating to the 1960s, which we are offering for sale over the next few weeks. Please be sure to save us to your favorite sellers list and check back often.
Today we are delighted to offer for sale a sweet vintage Arranbee R&B doll with lots of extras!
This doll dates to 1950s and has a sweet face.  She is a blonde doll with her hair in what appears to be its original style, pulled back in a pony tail with bangs. She has a hard plastic head and legs but a composition body and arms. Painted light brows, blushed cheeks, red bow lips and hazel eyes. We believe her eyes are sleep eyes but they're presently open and sticky. She is wearing a cute original outfit comprised of a dress with a red gingham skirt and red chiffon bodice. Over this dress is a matching gingham and red apron with a cute cherry embroidered trim and lace edging. Her outfit is complete with a white bow headband and red oilcloth shoes with ties.
Also included is an extra handmade outfit consisting of a white cotton chemise with a candy stiped red & white skirt and a "Jean Styles" blue hair net in its original cello package.
The doll is in fair to good condition with some wear to the painted finish on the ends of her fingers and some separations at seam on both sides of her head at her neck. She has been lightly cleaned but could use a thorough cleaning. Her eyes are sticky and do not currently close. Clothes are in good condition but could use a light laundering and pressing. Some small wear and holes are present along sleeves on the red dress. There is mild storage odor. During photography, the elastic kept slipping out of the headband; this may need to be replaced (an easy fix). The package for the hairnet has been opened.
Items are in fair to good, as-found vintage condition, with discoloration and wear commensurate with age, storage and light play.
There may be some musty smells associated with the doll or her clothing.
