Corn Husk Chicken Figurine, Vintage Rooster Folk Art, Handmade Farmhouse Rustic!

Description

This is one cool chicken, fresh from the estate of a local old timer/creator of tramp and folk art/collector of weird and unusual items! Made out of corn husks for the body, she is speckled, giving her extra character! Her shanks, claws and toes are heavy duty wire which is wrapped with more wire, which goes into and through the wood base (probably local Florida Pine from the 1950's). She has realistic plastic eyes, comb, beak and waddles! I really like how fluffy the tail feathers are too! She is hollow inside and from the sounds of her, she has a few kernels of dried corn inside, so she rattles when you move her!
6.75 high, 7.5 wide, 3.5 deep.
