MANUFACTURED BY THE WATERBURY BUTTON CO.
This lapel pin is an
authentic reproduction
of the uniform buttons worn by the ill-fated officers and crew of the
R.M. S. Titanic
.  The collector's pin has been fashioned by the Waterbury Button Company, an
original manufacturer
for the White Star Line, the owner of the Titanic.  Each button is stamped with modern tooling from die replicas descended from the originals in the Waterbury archives.  Founded in 1812, the Waterbury Button Company was already 100 years old at the time of Titanic's maiden voyage.

Condition: NEW
The button is made of brass with a 24 carat gold plated finish.
Button is approximately 1" in diameter.
Attaches to lapel via "pin and clutch", in much the same way as pierced earrings are secured.
Mounted on felt backing measuring 3 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide.
