This set is an eclectic collection of 15 views of seven towns and cities in western North Carolina. Included are Brevard (top left: the Episcopal church, Camp Sapphire, and the Rock-Brook camp for girls), Murphy (middle left: two views of the public square, each containing numerous vintage old cars), Linville (top right: the Eseeola Lodge, with a vintage old car visible, and the golf course), North Wilkesboro (middle right: the First Baptist Church and a night-time view of the Yadkin River Bridge with the city in the background), Hickory (bottom left: the high school and the library of Lenoir Rhyne College), Swannanoa (bottom middle: a sunrise scene of US Highway 70 near Swannanoa and an aerial view of the Beacon Manufacturing Company and the town), and Tryon (bottom right: a night-time view of Trade Street with vintage old cars and a view of the Mimosa Inn) The Camp Sapphire card (Brevard) is a chrome card; all the rest are linen. This card set should appeal to all who are interested in the Tarheel state, southern towns and cities, and vintage old cars.
These linen unused and unposted postcards are in near-mint condition with good colors and no serious imperfections. They are a great addition to any postcard collection.
